Why did I create this website?

I created this site for a variety of reasons, the most important being that I desperately needed something to suck up my time so I wouldn't have to actually write anything. Ha, ha. That's not really funny, because deep down I know it's probably true. Anyway, another reason I created this site was to share all the really good encouragement and advice I've run across on the web. There are so many authors out there willing to share what they've learned from experience, but if you don't know where to look, it's hard to find the information. I've found most of the links that I'm sharing on this site by clicking through other sites.

Finally, I just wanted to. I've been teaching myself html so that I could build this site and I've found that it is quite addictive.

Why does the site looks different every time you visit?

For the same reason that the furniture in my house never stays in the same place for long. Because what little decorating and design sense I have varies wildly with my mood swings.

Why did HEA move to a new web address?

Let's see: No ads, 5 MB of space free with the purchase of a domain name, and I wanted to get my name before someone else did. ;-) I am optimistically planning for the future. And while I wait for my hard work to pay off (publication, of course), I'm using the site to host my website for writers.
